Leading Woman Award
Description of Award
Leading Woman Award honors a woman working in any role in the public finance industry in the Mid-Atlantic region who (a) has made a significant contribution to the public finance industry through either a singular action or over the course of her career, and (b) has displayed exemplary professional behavior and strong leadership skills in mentoring and/or promoting the advancement of women.
The Award will include a donation of $1,000 made in honor of the Award recipient to a charity of the honoree’s choice, which charity’s mission is broadly aligned with that of Pennsylvania Women in Public Finance.

Jacqueline Dunn
City Treasurer - City of Philadelphia
Jackie Dunn is the Treasurer for the City of Philadelphia. She oversees the issuance of notes and bonds on behalf of the City’s General and Enterprise Funds, the City’s $9 billion outstanding debt portfolio, cash management and investments, and related policy issues.
In addition, she serves as the Finance Director's designee on the Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement, a board member of the Philadelphia Municipal Authority, and as a member of the GFOA’s national Treasury and Investment Management Committee.
Jackie previously held other roles since joining local government in 2014, serving as First Deputy Treasurer, Chief of Staff to the Director of Finance, and Assistant Finance Director. Prior to joining the City, she worked for Public Financial Management and the Annenberg Public Policy Center.
She has a Master’s in Governmental Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
